Homeschool Parents Class

This class is for the homeschool teacher. Come have some fun with other homeschool parents while painting a still life of flowers; all while learning about how to incorporate art into your own homeschool lessons.

This is a 2 hour class.  

Time: Sun. Oct 12th 1:30-3:30

Location: Treehouse Cafe Community room

All art and learning materials are provided, feel free to purchase snacks or drinks from the cafe. Coming a little early to order those will help with the flow of class. 

In this class you will be painting an acrylic still life of flowers in bud vases. This is not like your typical painting party, not everyones flower will look the same when we are done (though we can still do a group picture when we are finished if everyone wants too). We will be exploring color mixing, different paint strokes to create different looks and we will be getting inspired by different artists. While you are painting I will be sharing my knowledge of art education with you. Giving you tips and tricks on how to integrate art into many different subjects, and how you can do it, even if you're not good at art. You will leave the class with your painting, a goodie bag, and a packet of art education information and resources so you can teach your own kids in the comfort of your home.
